OUR STORY

Chalkboard-style sign with white lettering that reads "Misfit Pits BBQ" and illustrations of a pig and a cow.

Misfit Pits BBQ started on February 27, 2020, but the reason behind it goes back a little further.

After my parents passed away, our family slowly quit getting together. Before long, almost two years had gone by without all of us being in the same place. I missed having everyone around.

I bought a smoker and started cooking barbecue for family gatherings. Before long, those weekends became something we all looked forward to. We were spending time together again, making memories, laughing, and enjoying good food.

That's when I realized barbecue wasn't just about the food. God was using it to bring people together.
That same purpose is what led to Misfit Pits BBQ.

Our mission is simple:
‍ ‍To strengthen families and to build our community.
Everything we serve is prepared with care because we believe people deserve our best. We take pride in doing things the right way and serving food we're proud to put our name on.

We launched our food truck on July 31, 2023, and opened our restaurant two years later. None of it would have happened without the support of our customers. You believed in us, and we're thankful for every person who has walked through our doors.

Whether you're here with family, friends, coworkers, or just grabbing lunch, we hope you leave with a full stomach and know you're always welcome here.
It is always an honor and a privilege to serve you.
